The owners were fantastic and so helpful, Really enjoyable stay in a very convenient location for exploring the valley of the Dordogne. We were allowed to choose our own pitch (out of season), ablution block was regularly cleaned (taking inconsiderate campers into account), and we couldn't fault the administration of the owners. Lovely hot showers, clean ablutions, fresh croissants, shady sites . Environmentally friendly and great facilities.
Other campers who are perhaps less considerate of guests than they should be, despite the best efforts of the owners to make them aware of fellow guests in the ablution blocks.. The water supply to our site was in need of repair, but the owners apologised and explained their decision to wait until the site was closed to dig the necessary trench, rather than disrupt bookings and sites. It was a small inconvenience, but not unacceptable. Their excuse was very valid and acceptable, and by the time the site opens next season I am sure that the situation will have been resolved.
Accommodation review
Very spacious .We had a 6 man tent, car and trailer and there was masses of unused space. Some sites are shadier than others, so if you want a shady site the owners are willing to try and accommodate you.

on était super bien placé, un bel emplacement pour notre camping car juste devant le sentier qui longe la Dordogne. Très dépaysant et reposant. Les villages sont magnifiques avec leurs chateaux, mais très très touristique et tout hors de prix.
planter un peu plus de buissons entre les emplacement. on était vraiment en vis à vos avec les voisins. Dommage vu la taille des emplacements. Et pas assez de transats à la piscine vu le nombre de campeurs et de baigneurs.

camping très calme. très vert avec un tri des déchets poussés et un compost géant, le top.
Vraiment pas assez de sanitaires. nous avons du patienter quasi systématiquement pour utiliser les sanitaires. un peu plus d'animation peut être ? Car à part l'autoroute des canoés sur la Dordogne, il n'y a aucune animation dans le camping.

L'ensemble de la zone de la piscine et la taille des emplacements, les aires de jeux pour enfants, la courtoisie du personnel et la propreté des installations sanitaires sont très bien.
Le réveil matinal causé par les montgolfières à 7h30 peut être assez désagréable, surtout lorsque l'on a peu de vacances. Cependant, il faut reconnaître que le spectacle est magnifique, même s'il ne laisse aucun jour de répit.
Accommodation review
La superficie du terrain est très agréable, bien arborée tout autour. Il n'y a pas trop de vis-à-vis.
Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas la vue sur l’eau comme sur le site internet.

Inmillorable ubicació al ben mig dels cinq castells, i tocant al riu Dordonya.
Gestió reserva: per manca disponibilitat parcela XL vam haver de fer dos reserves en parceles diferents (Clase Confort i clase XL) per cobrir tot el periode de l'estada. S'ens van cobrar dos gestiions de reserva.

Accés una mica lluny a la conexió eléctrica.
