Camping des Alouettes *** is located in the regional nature park Périgord Limousine, 25 km west of Limoges. Here you can enjoy a gorgeous part of France where rest, space, nature and hospitality are evident. Because of the relaxed atmosphere at the camp-site you will rapidly feel at home. Our first concern is to give you a carefree holiday so you can fully enjoy the beauty that this region has to offer. The fabulous surroundings of the regional nature park can be explored directly from the ... camp-site by marked hiking routes. You can also use a bicycle to unwind on the countryside roads or take the car to one of the many attractions. Don't forget to stop on the way to enjoy the landscape and nature.

Cognac La Foret area is truly beautiful and perfect for a peaceful holiday with no pressures.
We simply loved it and enjoyed cycling around the local lanes and exploring the small villages and towns in the local area.

Great spacious pitches so you needed a long electric cable but this was nothing.

General information
This is our fourth visit to the site, the first since covid and as always we received a friendly reception and excellent service throughout our stay. We had friends joining us half way through the stay and the pitch next to us was reserved for them. The new reception and snack bar is a great addition. We had a lovely time in a very pretty undiscovered part of France which is a great unwind. Looking forward to returning in 2024.

Stayed one night to visit the nearby village or Oradour-sur-Glane. Reception spoke great english to combat my poor french, facilities were very clean and modern, pool was a good temperature and size. Breakfast delivered to your pitch was a bonus!

The pitch was huge and had water and electric in the corner, had to level the van slightly but nothing serious. No issues with drainage or warn out grass etc

We rented a tent and it had absolutely everything we needed. Toilets and showers were really clean and showers were hot which you don’t always get camping. Staff all very friendly and informative about the area.

We e-mailed management to ask if we could come one day earlier than booked and this was organised for us with ease.

Water tap nearby. Very clean. Large pitch. Forest nearby for our dog. Excellent recycling area. Shower block facilities were excellent. We did not use the pool or the snack bar but they looked very clean and tidy. We stopped for 3 nights to visit Oradour Sur Glane and to break up our journey. We will definitely stop again in the future.
