General information
A wonderful welcome at reception and staff who were really helpful and going out of there way to make your stay as good as it could be. New shower block with lovely facilities and smart phone controlled laundry. Site literally backs on to the Dordogne which was fantastic for paddling. A number of kayak centres nearby that can arrange longer excursions. Regular trips by local food businesses for nights when you can’t be bothered to cook!
Pool area was adequate but pretty tired and there was a complete lack of beds (the few that are there are all broken). The town itself is pretty quiet without really somewhere to pop for a drink and a meal but there are spots dotted around.
Accommodation review
Pretty nice flat pitch next to horse paddock (which was particularly pleasing for our daughter). Modern electrical hookup and water supply.
No drainage available but there is a water disposal point on site. Pitch is pretty close to the main road which isn’t a big deal most of the time but there was a very noisy lorry or tractor that would come past around 3am each morning and wake us up as it made an absolute racket going over the speed humps!

le camping est parfait, les sanitaires très propres, la localisation du camping à proximité de nombreuses villes charmantes et site de visite un magasin de producteur pas très loin mais découvert tardivement avec beaucoup de choix la base de canoë dans le camping, le pain frais et les croissants le matin à l'accueil, les enclos des chevaux et du poney dans l'enceinte du camping et l'accès direct à la rivière la région est vraiment magnifique
Un petit plus, serait quelques activités proposées pour les enfants et 1 ou 2 douche(s) et wc(s) supplémentaire(s) serait un petit plus

La localisation du camping, la proximité à la rivière, le parc, les infrastructures de loisirs (terrain de tennis, ping pong, boulodrome, prêt de matériel...), le fait que le camping ne soit pas accessible en voiture
L'emplacement pour les caravanes est en entrée de camping pour éviter de faire circuler les véhicules ; ça s'entend mais du coup on se retrouve avec des camping caristes qui changent des souvent ce qui engendre beaucoup de bruits. L'emplacement près des sanitaire est trop bruyant

Séjour très bien déroulé , entre balades , visites de villages classés , baignades , randonnée etc..
Notre séjour était trop court pour toutes les activités à faire dans ce très bel endroit .

Un accent mis sur le recyclage, sur notre impact sur l environnement, le tout dans un environnement très calme et plat. Il y a un jardin participatif, un composteur qui jouxte un poulailler et récupération d oeufs. Petit camping/village, Vous n y trouverez pas les animations mortifères en soirée mais plutôt un cours sur la Pêche en rivière en après midi par exemple. On peut facilement laisser les enfants librement jouer, le risque objectif est minime: la route est loin et l accès à la Piscine demande une technique qui même pour les adultes n est pas simple. Très reposant donc.
Comme dans toute infrastructure, certaines vieillissent: poignée d accès à la piscine, affaissement du sol aux alentours de la Piscine (cela crée des décalages de niveau et peut être blessant si on ne regarde pas ou l on met les pieds), filets sur le terrain de tennis par exemple. Cela n empêche pas de profiter de ces installations toutefois.

Très bon emplacement qui sera à n'en pas douter super dans une ou deux années.
Le cadre du bar est très sympa malgré les attaques de moustiques. Le personnel est également à féliciter pour sa gentillesse.
